Screamer

describe the image

Who is Screamer and What does he like:

He loves a good armpit rub and would lay there all day if you never stopped. With both arms straight out in the air and a look of complete satisfaction on his little face.

He loves to attack my sonicare toothbrush as I'm trying to use it.

He loves to sleep in the bathroom sink.

He loves laying by the slider in the morning to sunbathe with the breeze blowing on him just a little and then catch the sunsetting in the front room for an afternoon nap.

He loves to sit with me to watch and listen to the Decorah eagles raise their eaglets.

He loves to nibble on your elbows and ankles (Only bony parts are good) to get you to move over so he can steal the warm spot from where you are sitting.

He loves to steal my pillow and side of the bed, but only if I'm in it of course. The king bed was to small for him :)

He loves to follow Jurgen around stalking him to let him know he is ready for his lunch or dinner or 25th snack. He wouldn't give up till he gets what he wants. There is no hiding from him.

He loves to snuggle with Misty and to sit on Jazz to get him to move over and share the heating pad.

He loves to partake in Jurgen's Texas conference calls (Just in case he is needed).

He loves to watch and chatter at the birds from the back deck.

He loves to push his face through the circle you make with your hand and round off the corners of the coffee table with his little face rubbing.

He loves to sit quietly on the night stand like it's his perch and stare at you till you give in to his wants.

He loves to comb and snuggle in my hair before bed only to fall asleep and leave me a big drool spot (happy drool).

He loves petro malt right out of the tube and never misses a drop.

He loves blueberry bagels and if you dare bring one to the house be prepared to be stalked and harassed till you run away or give into his demands.

He loves to sit on the bathroom scale and watch me get ready. Chirping at me if he thinks I forgot anything.

He loves to track kitty litter across an entire house and up 13 stairs down the hall and in to bed (how he does this we will never know :)

He loves to scamper down the hall to the kitchen while looking over his shoulder to make sure you didn't get lost or forget where you are supposed to be going.

He is kind spirited and has the biggest gentlest heart. He is the kitty that everyone wants to take home (Even the non kitty loving and the very allergic to kitties people) and is always a gentleman. Never any attitude or snobbishness. Just unconditional love and trust with a hint of feed me right now..... He does have a under 3 foot rule.. If your under 3 feet you must only pet me if you're supervised or I'm out of here (Thanks to my little sister's tail pulling days). He has the biggest beautiful warm green eye's. He purr's at just the slightest touch and drools with a good rub.

I could go on and on about Screamer and what he loves. When I think of him the first thing I think is " My Perfect Little Man".

SPARKY

"Sparky was a Labrador/Shepperd who came to us as a puppy. We rescued her from the Everett Animal Shelter and she was the best dog for our children we could have hoped for. Sparky was playful, smart, strong, healthy and sweet. We were blessed to have enjoyed her for 14 years.

We are thankful to Dave and Victoria for giving us the opportunity to grieve for Sparky in the privacy of our home when the time came to let her go. I have to say that when Dave came back with Sparky's ashes and paw print, we had mixed feelings, but once we gathered around with the kids and started decorating Sparky's paw print, it became a very comforting activity. It's nice to have something tangible to remember Sparky by. Sparky was a great dog. We loved her and we will miss her. "

Thanks,

Lucy

Daddy's shadow and Mommy's baby girl. We forgot how small you were in the world around you, because your heart was so big it filled the room.A zany, silly, pretty girl full of love and kisses, you will be in our hearts and minds every day for the rest of our lives. Words cannot express how terribly we miss you, our hearts are heavy with grief. There is a huge empty space now, and it will not be filled. God knew how perfect and beautiful you are, he decided he wanted you by his side for awhile. Rest well and play baby girl, we will see you soon. Missing you, loving you always.

My Snow baby was truly an amazing dog…. She had the calmest gentlest demeanor.  Those who met her instantly fell in love with her, even those who normally were not dog lovers.

I had her since she was 5-weeks old and when she left me she was almost 15.  So many memories during our time together that I will always and forever cherish… She was such an amazing best friend/companion, I am so honored that she chose me to be her owner.  I remember the first time I saw her; I hadn’t planned on getting a dog. I was with a friend who was getting a couple of dogs and when I saw Snow we were immediately drawn to each other.  The lady was amazed as she said Snow wanted nothing to do with anybody else, if they picked her up she would immediately run back to a corner as soon as they set her down.  When I set her down she came right back to me and wouldn’t leave me and just wanted to be held.  I didn’t get her that day but after thinking about it I went back and got her the next day and from then on was history… She truly was the most amazing part of my life we had a bond that could not be broken and it will remain unbroken even though my Snow is gone.

To my Snow baby; thank you for being a part of my life and being my light during the hardest of times. Without you I could not have made it through those hard times.  You saw me laugh, you saw me cry and through it all you remained by my side.  A piece of my heart has gone with you for you to keep safe until we can be together again.  Life will not even be close to the same without you two steps behind me wherever I go. I guess I can now look at it as you are two steps ahead of me waiting to see me again.  You will always and forever remain in my heart and you will never be forgotten… I love you my Snow angel may you rest in peace. And know that this is not good-bye as I will see you again one day. In loving memory of my Snow angel June 10, 1998 – May 2, 2013

I miss you my Snow and I am so lost without you.

Jack The Dog

Jack The Dog was the light and love of my life and the feeling was reciprocated. Everyone who met Jack, even non-dog people, always commented on what a handsome, sociable and exceedingly funny dog he was. He made friends wherever we went.

He loved to go anywhere, do anything, meet anyone and was my constant companion. His favorite things to do were to go to the dog park, go see “the girls” at Pet Pros, and go to a beach where he could run free. Our last trip was to the Long Beach Peninsula where he ran until he was exhausted; then he would find someone, anyone, to scratch his back.

I kept him safe from harm for 11 years. But a Schipperke likes to escape and he met a tragic end on April 5, 2013. My heart is broken over the loss of my Jack; but I like to think he is running on a beach somewhere waiting for me.

Run free little dog.
