Hello:
I found this off of a friends link and I am hoping that you will allow me to stay. See I have not lost a pet in that they have gone to the rainbow bridge. We had six cats whom we had to find new homes for because our house was foreclosed on. I know that is not the same as a pet death, but I miss them terribly. I have chronic health problems and have been battling strep throat and pneumonia. When I would get sick all of my guys would be piled on top of me, purring, making bread and loving up on me. When I was depressed my black boy Shadow would follow me around and when I would finally settle he would curl himself up into a small ball and sleep with me until I was forced to move him to get a drink of water. He would follow me to the bathroom and meow pitifully outside the door. As soon as I got back into bed or went out to watch TV he would be back in my lap. These guys were my furry kids and I miss them so much if I think about it at all I start to cry. I hope you will allow me to post my memories of my fur-babies on here and maybe I will start to heal.

I met Mr. Gruber last Sunday. He had been in a battle with cancer and taking care of his sister Sierra. What a fighter he is. After loosing his sister Sierra on Sunday he just seem so tired. Buster joined our family on September 4, 2001 in Tampa Florida. When we were trying to make our selection between Buster and another Yorkie, he decided to take control and climbed up into his Daddy’s lap and put his paws around his neck. Decision made, we were totally in love. Buster was a very non-assuming boy, a bit shy and totally under the rule of his big sister Daphne.
Buster would always wake his Mama up by crawling up on the bed and jumping on her stomach. If that didn’t work, he would paw at her until she got up and took him out to do his business and fix his breakfast.
He loved to lay on the couch in the family room (no one was able to sit there as this was his spot). When he got thirsty, he would look over at his Daddy and then at the water bowl and that was a sign that his Daddy needed to get up and give him a drink of water.
We loved our little love bucket, Buster. He was the light of our life and he will live in our hearts forever.

Bika was a Ragdoll male Cat 11 years old and the loving friend to Katie, Here are some comments from Katie. Bika flew from Idaho to GA. as the sweetest baby boy kitten, lived there for 6 years. Picking him up that day at Jacksonville international airport was one of the best days of my life. Flew to Hawaii and lived there for 4 years. He sat on my lap all months I wrote my master's thesis. We flew off of our Island of Oahu first class so that Bika?boy would have more room to VA. We drove to RI. and Bika?lived there with Grammie?for 6 months. Bika then flew out to WA. and died peacefully in Momma's arms December 16th 2008. He was always at Momma's side. We held hands/paws?when we slept. Bika is and always will be Momma's beloved Bika. We adopted him when he was 5 yrs. old. He was a very cute sweet loving boy. He was a playful dog and like to meet other dogs. Spike always want to go for a ride and as soon as we open the car door he'll jumped right inside the car. He loves to eat that's why he looks like Garfield (tummy's always bulging). His favorite fruit was manggo?and will be begging us for more. He also loves ube?ice cream (it's a filipino?ice cream). He likes to play a big brother to his little sister chinky. He always makes it a point the she eats first before he does. He loves to play with his bed and sleeps like a human being (laying on his back)...at least he thinks he was. He likes to play in the snow too. He loves to be caress while he sticks his tongue out.
We already missed him so much especially that we treated him as our first son. It feels different now knowing that when we come home from work he won't be waiting by the window and will be so happy to greet us wiggling his sexy tail. He will be forever in our hearts and mind...and no dog can ever replace him.

Tahz was an amazingly gentle soul. He had a mouse that whenever he spotted it in the house he would meow and find me wherever I was, bring it to me and drop it at my feet. Once when I went on vacation, I found it in my shoe in my suitcase. He slept by my side every night for the past 12 years and I have no idea how I'm going to ever get to sleep again. He was my very best friend.
Thank you for being gentle with his body. He will forever sit on my dresser once you return him to us.

Sassy was not the family pet. She was family. In fact, I considered Sassy my other daughter and my daughter Jennifer considered her her sister. When Jennifer would get ready for bed she would say “Sassy it’s time for bed” and Sassy would wander into the bedroom and go to bed with her. Then I would say goodnight girls; I love you, sweet dreams. Sometimes she would even watch TV with Jennifer – really watch it. Sassy was adorable, funny, demanding at times and very loving. Although, she was very picky about whom she would be loving and cuddly with. We feel very honored that Sassy chose our apartment to run into that day about 16 years ago. We love her so much and will miss her forever. She takes a piece of our heart with her. Be happy my pretty girl you’re not in pain anymore. Mommy and Jennifer.
